Graston Technique® is an instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization technique that specializes  in the treatment and removal of soft tissue adhesions.  Six stainless steal tools, each with a beveled edge may be used depending on the area of complaint to effectively comb out fibrosis or scar tissue.   Removal of scar tissue allows for improved range of motion, improved lymphatic drainage, increased blood supply and new collagen formation.  Graston Technique® is effective in treating a number of difficult and chronic conditions such as; migraine headaches, plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, frozen shoulder, carpal tunnel syndrome, thoracic outlet syndrome, strain/sprain injuries, muscle tightness as well as other chronic and acute pains throughout the body.  Treatment with the Graston Technique® can be effective for a range of individuals from patient’s who have recently undergone hip, knee, back or other surgeries, sporting injuries as well as the weekend warrior.  Graston Technique® is currently used by more than 115 major professional and amateur sports organizations, more than 6,000 leading health care providers, teaching institutes and major corporations.
