Andrew Glogowski, DC, ART

Doctor Andrew Glogowski is a local to the area growing up in Bensalem, PA. In 2004, he received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA. He ran Cross Country competitively in college and continues the sport for leisure.  Dr. G. attained his Doctor of Chiropractic D.C., at the New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) in Seneca Falls, NY. At this time he met his wife, who is also a practicing chiropractor. January of 2008, Dr G joined Westside Wellness Chiropractic Center representing the Western Mainline. Dr G prides himself on clinical excellence, constantly expanding his skill set and knowledge base rendering rapid patient recovery.

Dr. G applies functional testing with his comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy identifying all the components of a musculoskeletal condition. Without correcting each dysfunction found during the examination, progress attained from treatment becomes short lived. A dysfunction can be described as inflammation, abnormal joint movement, scar tissue infiltration, nerve entrapment, disc injury, weakness, aberrant motion patterns and pathologic processes. Progress is constantly reassessed during treatment so doctor and patient know the correct methods of care are being implemented. The goal of treatment is to identify, repair and rehabilitate all areas of dysfunction so injuries do not return.

Dr. G possesses the highest level of certification in Active Release Techniques (ART®) which is the premier scar tissue removal system in health care today. Whether you are in a traumatic accident or perform daily repetitive movements at home or work, scar tissue adhesions develop over muscles, ligaments and nerves when under abnormal stress. Kinesio-taping is a tool the doctor uses allowing structural support to an area without limiting range of motion unlike bracing devices. K-tape is also used to activate the body’s lymphatic system, allowing for faster healing. Orthotics provide proper function in the foot which has direct influences on the knees, hips and low back.  Dr G’s treatment philosophy and skill sets allow him to assist in resolving a wide range of musculoskeletal problems. Dr G believes public awareness of effective alternative forms of healthcare is very important. He provides frequent wellness lectures inside his office and outside lectures to sports groups and businesses.
